Dr. Angela Golden provides clinical services, with a special emphasis on the treatment of the disease of obesity, through her nurse practitioner service founded in Munds Park, Arizona, in 2000. Her practice, along with her work in urgent care, allows Dr. Golden to fulfill her long-held passion of serving the healthcare needs of her community.
Dr. Golden has consulted on patient education materials and clinical practices, as well as authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and chapters on the management of obesity. Throughout her career, she has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on varied topics related to advanced practice, with a special emphasis on health policy and leadership. Additionally, Dr. Golden has held multiple leadership positions in non-profit professional organizations at local, state, and national levels, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, where she was inducted as a Fellow in 2009 and served as president from 2012 to 2014.
Dr. Golden received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University, Phoenix, with an emphasis in evidenced-based practice and health policy.
