Søren Kruse Lilleøre serves as global medical director, Obesity, in Global Medical Affairs at Novo Nordisk Headquarters in Søborg, Denmark. Since joining the company in 2008, Mr. Lilleøre has held various positions within the medical affairs area. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lilleøre conducted research at Steno Diabetes Center, Denmark, investigating the effect of birth weight on energy metabolism during weight maintenance and overfeeding conditions. Since 2011, Mr. Lilleøre has focused on medical/scientific communication and education within obesity as a therapeutic area. His professional interests include appetite regulation and energy expenditure.
Mr. Lilleøre received his bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree in human nutrition from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
